Oral and
Maxillofacial surgery

Oral surgery includes a series of surgical operations aimed at solving unfavourable anatomic and biologic conditions which are otherwise irreversible.

Oral Surgery includes extraction surgery, periodontal surgery, implant surgery and bone regenerative surgery.

Most surgery is performed under local anesthesia.

Maxillofacial Surgery is responsible for all operations targeted at curing various types of diseases (trauma, malformations, tumors, infections, degenerations, etc.). The surgery may be performed under local or full anesthesia depending on the extent and on the type.
